Spectators: 7271 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miltos Pedoulakis took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miltos Pedoulakis in the 4th minute of play forced maroullia FC's goalkeeper Ermis Dimitriou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Babbis Kotsolis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HANNIBAL's Manos Koutounias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Kotsolis in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Panos Koutsivitis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manos Koutounias skillfully saved the ball. Giotis Kourelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nasos Stefanidis came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the HANNIBAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nasos Stefanidis couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Miltos Pedoulakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermis Dimitriou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giotis Kourelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Manos Koutounias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, HANNIBAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Thanopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Giotis Kourelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Manos Koutounias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stavros Psomiadis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. HANNIBAL's Nasos Stefanidis got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Babbis Kotsolis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manos Koutounias was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Vaggelis Vretzos was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Giotis Kourelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stavros Psomiadis hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Giorgos Thanopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermis Dimitriou having to interfere. When maroullia FC's Babbis Kotsolis in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Sokratis Vamvakeris managed to get in a good position for a shot. maroullia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sokratis Vamvakeris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manos Koutounias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. maroullia FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
