KANALIWN's Leonidas Chatziantoniou got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ntinos Tzolis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nasos Stefanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, A.E. KANALIWN's Charilaos Katsidimas got a free kick in the 20th minute. Tasos Koulopodis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, HANNIBAL's Thomas Sardelis got a free kick in the 26th minute. Manos Koutounias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tasos Koulopodis went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Kostas Perdikouris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Koutounias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Kostas Perdikouris managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.E. KANALIWN's supporters rose to their feet, but Kostas Perdikouris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manos Koutounias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the game, Miltos Pedoulakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kostas Pavlakos. Miltos Pedoulakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. If Tasos Koulopodis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With 52 minutes on the clock, Takis Kaiafas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 52nd minute, one of HANNIBAL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for HANNIBAL. Vaggelis Potamiotis walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Manos Koutounias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Perdikouris in the 57th minute of the match. A.E. KANALIWN's Kostas Perdikouris got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Nasos Stefanidis made a precise shot to the right of Kostas Pavlakos. A.E. KANALIWN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Giorgos Thanopoulos's late challenge caught a A.E. KANALIWN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giorgos Thanopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes HANNIBAL got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Thanopoulos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kostas Perdikouris in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manos Koutounias saved HANNIBAL from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tasos Koulopodis got free with Manos Koutounias in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tasos Koulopodis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kostas Perdikouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Manos Koutounias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute of the match Giannis Papoutsas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kostas Pavlakos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Giorgos Thanopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kostas Pavlakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nasos Stefanidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Pavlakos having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Giorgos Thanopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.E. KANALIWN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for HANNIBAL.
