The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manos Tsounidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziioannou Panousopoulos having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Loco Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Manos Tsounidis came free, but Chatziioannou Panousopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dimitris Dermitzoglou hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Petros Zacharatos came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Loco Lions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petros Zacharatos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Zacharatos in the 26th minute of play forced Selista's goalkeeper Simos Moras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Petros Zacharatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Loco Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iraklis Polimenakos to maneuver through the defense. Manos Tsounidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziioannou Panousopoulos having to interfere. Minas Kalkavouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Simos Moras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manos Tsounidis was the one to do the kick off. When Loukas Grigoratos fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selista's protests and gave Loukas Grigoratos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute Theocharis Pachatouridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chatziioannou Panousopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Petros Zacharatos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simos Moras. That made the score 0-1 in the 67 minute of play. Achilleas Gonias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loco Lions's Chatziioannou Panousopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manos Tsounidis in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Selista's goalkeeper Simos Moras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Achilleas Gonias. Tasos Kioulekas kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match.
