Fanis Veziropoulos was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Zinon Pentaras capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stathis Ipsilantis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christodoulos Drakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Christodoulos Drakos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stathis Ipsilantis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Lapokhσri defense, Stratos Kountouratzis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. The Lapokhσri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stathis Ipsilantis should have stopped the shot. Stathis Ipsilantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simos Schinas in the 38th minute of the match. Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christodoulos Drakos in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Kountouratzis in the 41st minute of play forced Lapokhσri's goalkeeper Stathis Ipsilantis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stathis Ipsilantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stratos Kountouratzis in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Lapokhσri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paraskevas Rovolis to maneuver through the defense. After the first half 575TΠ were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christodoulos Drakos to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Christodoulos Drakos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stathis Ipsilantis. Christodoulos Drakos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Simos Schinas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Kountouratzis in the 59th minute of play. Simos Schinas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Stathis Ipsilantis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Stratos Kountouratzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lapokhσri's Stathis Ipsilantis got control of the ball when Simos Schinas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute Simos Schinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Ipsilantis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Christodoulos Drakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stathis Ipsilantis. Lapokhσri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christodoulos Drakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. In the 83rd minute Christodoulos Drakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Ipsilantis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
