The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Babbis Kotsolis to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Babbis Kotsolis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. maroullia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Kotsolis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Babbis Kotsolis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leonidas Plevritis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giotis Kourelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Plevritis having to interfere. Leonidas Plevritis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Kotsolis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in maroullia FC's zone, Alkaios Alexis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermis Dimitriou came out of the goal and Alkaios Alexis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Giotis Kourelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The maroullia FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
