With a little luck, Loco Lions's Chatziioannou Panousopoulos got control of the ball when Aris Lazaris tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Aris Lazaris sent off a good shot on target. The Loco Lions fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chatziioannou Panousopoulos should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Iraklis Polimenakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loco Lions's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Che Guevara the free kick. Che Guevara's Renos Ignatiou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Che Guevara from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Petros Zacharatos fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Renos Ignatiou, passed just outside the right post. Filippos Kastanis struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Chatziioannou Panousopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Che Guevara. The audience thought a goal was coming when Achilleas Gonias got free with Renos Ignatiou in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Che Guevara's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Zacharatos came free, but Renos Ignatiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petros Zacharatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renos Ignatiou having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filippos Kastanis in the 91st minute of play forced Loco Lions's goalkeeper Chatziioannou Panousopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Che Guevara's zone, Petros Zacharatos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renos Ignatiou came out of the goal and Petros Zacharatos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christos Dellas hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. If Petros Zacharatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
