Panos Tsigos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Zacharias Savouridis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonis Athanasakis in the 6th minute of play forced Red Elikon Dragons's goalkeeper Kostas Giotoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zacharias Savouridis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Panos Tsigos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xerólakkos's Sotiris Krasopoulos got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes Anastasios Babasakos shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Xerólakkos's Zacharias Savouridis to catch but Anastasios Babasakos was lucky. It became 2-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Xerólakkos's zone, Panos Tsigos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacharias Savouridis came out of the goal and Panos Tsigos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sotiris Mitropoulos struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Zacharias Savouridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Elikon Dragons. Sotiris Mitropoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Zacharias Savouridis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 40th minute, Takis Georgakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Panos Tsigos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Tsigos in the 55th minute of play forced Xerólakkos's goalkeeper Zacharias Savouridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Panos Tsigos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Elikon Dragons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After a rather tough play, Red Elikon Dragons's Takis Georgakis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Zacharias Savouridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Tsigos in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Sotiris Mitropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacharias Savouridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Xerólakkos's zone, Panos Tsigos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacharias Savouridis came out of the goal and Panos Tsigos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70thth minute of the game Panos Tsigos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xerólakkos's Zacharias Savouridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panos Tsigos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, one of Xerólakkos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Xerólakkos. Anastasios Babasakos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Panos Tsigos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Xerólakkos's Antonis Athanasakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. If Dimos Chiotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Sotiris Mitropoulos made a precise shot to the right of Zacharias Savouridis. Xerólakkos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. 97 minutes into the match, Xerólakkos's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Tsigos came free, but Zacharias Savouridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panos Tsigos struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Zacharias Savouridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Elikon Dragons. When the referee ended the match the Red Elikon Dragons players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
