Demis Paboulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fanis Roubos in the 8th minute of the match. Demis Paboulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akakios Koubilias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes, Akakios Koubilias made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Πάτημα Α.Ο.'s Demis Paboulis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Orestis Keratakis hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Anestis Malamas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Demis Paboulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Akakios Koubilias made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Fanis Roubos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demis Paboulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giannis Tsakiropoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demis Paboulis having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Πάτημα Α.Ο.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Milan:s goal. When Thymios Stratikis fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milan's protests and gave Thymios Stratikis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thymios Stratikis to maneuver through the defense. Milan's Fondas Lazarakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Milan from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Giannis Tsakiropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demis Paboulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Karakotsos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Milan! Anestis Malamas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Πάτημα Α.Ο.'s zone, Giannis Tsakiropoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demis Paboulis came out of the goal and Giannis Tsakiropoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anestis Malamas charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anestis Malamas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Milan's Anestis Malamas got a free kick in the 87th minute. Fondas Lazarakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panagiotis Kolitsidakis in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Kostas Maggioros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Lazarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
