Thymios Kermelidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lazaros Ntokas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stamatis Polichronopoulos got free with Lazaros Ntokas in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. University of Pennsylvani's Lazaros Ntokas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Kermelidis in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, University of Pennsylvani's Lazaros Ntokas got control of the ball when Stamatis Polichronopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iosif Kefalou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Papageorgas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Kefalou came out of the goal and Stefanos Zinantidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of University of Pennsylvani booed when Voliσnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apostolis Kostakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute Adamantios Mitrofanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Kefalou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Voliσnes's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Papageorgas came free, but Iosif Kefalou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Voliσnes's Michalis Iakovidis got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Voliσnes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. University of Pennsylvani were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thymios Kermelidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lazaros Ntokas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michalis Iakovidis in the 52nd minute of the match. Lazaros Ntokas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thymios Kermelidis's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Michalis Iakovidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Voliσnes booed when University of Pennsylvani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefanos Ntaloukas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iosif Kefalou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Papageorgas in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, University of Pennsylvani's goal looked a bit too open when Thymios Kermelidis came free, but Lazaros Ntokas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Louis Zoumis kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Voliσnes getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Apostolis Kostakis hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Ntinos Asimos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lazaros Ntokas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Antonis Koukodimos kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Lazaros Ntokas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamatis Polichronopoulos in the 91st minute of play.
