When Charis Manolas fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arvanitaνika FC's protests and gave Charis Manolas a yellow card for diving instead. Ilias Tsakiris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Terzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panagiotis Kolitsidakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ilias Tsakiris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Arvanitaνika FC got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Kaliakoudis. Grigoris Kaliakoudis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grigoris Kaliakoudis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kostas Maggioros charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kostas Maggioros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kostas Maggioros kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Grigoris Kaliakoudis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Demis Paboulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Panagiotis Kolitsidakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grigoris Kaliakoudis made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Panagiotis Kolitsidakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Πάτημα Α.Ο.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Panagiotis Kolitsidakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argyris Terzis in the 77th minute of play forced Arvanitaνika FC's goalkeeper Ilias Tsakiris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panagiotis Kolitsidakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilias Tsakiris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panagiotis Kolitsidakis ran back to his position shaking his head. If Argyris Terzis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charis Manolas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 91st minute. Arvanitaνika FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Panagiotis Kolitsidakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Tsakiris having to interfere.
