Spectators: 7709 (Terracing: 5783, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Panos Tsigos started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Panos Tsigos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Lazarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Akakios Koubilias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anestis Malamas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Giotoulis having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Red Elikon Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zisis Tourkogiorgis to maneuver through the defense. Michalis Valassoulis hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Fondas Lazarakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Tsigos in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Sotiris Mitropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Lazarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fondas Lazarakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Mitropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Akakios Koubilias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kostas Giotoulis. Akakios Koubilias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Panos Tsigos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fondas Lazarakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotiris Mitropoulos in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Zisis Tourkogiorgis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fondas Lazarakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Sotiris Mitropoulos struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Fondas Lazarakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Elikon Dragons. Michalis Valassoulis charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michalis Valassoulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Milan getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Michalis Valassoulis hit a great ball. In the 44th minute Zisis Tourkogiorgis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fondas Lazarakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Elikon Dragons's goalkeeper Kostas Giotoulis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zisis Tourkogiorgis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 58 minutes into the match, Milan's goalkeeper Fondas Lazarakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zisis Tourkogiorgis. The crowd rose to their feet as Panos Tsigos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fondas Lazarakis. That made the score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. Fondas Lazarakis made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Sotiris Mitropoulos sent off a good shot on target. Fondas Lazarakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Tsigos in the 70th minute of the match. Sotiris Mitropoulos took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fondas Lazarakis. Fondas Lazarakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Milan's Fondas Lazarakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Tsigos in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Milan's goalkeeper Fondas Lazarakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotiris Mitropoulos. When Milan's Akakios Koubilias in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Elikon Dragons's goalie prevented a goal. Fondas Lazarakis made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Zisis Tourkogiorgis sent off a good shot on target. When Zisis Tourkogiorgis fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Elikon Dragons's protests and gave Zisis Tourkogiorgis a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the match, Milan's Anestis Malamas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kostas Giotoulis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zisis Tourkogiorgis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fondas Lazarakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panos Karakotsos during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Karakotsos to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Anastasios Babasakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Red Elikon Dragons walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
