Bαrji FC's Lambis Psiris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Kermelidis in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Stamatis Polichronopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lambis Psiris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thymios Kermelidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Lambis Psiris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giorgos Vyntras to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Voliσnes's zone, Thymios Skinas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iosif Kefalou came out of the goal and Thymios Skinas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Voliσnes's goal looked a bit too open when Thymios Skinas came free, but Iosif Kefalou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Vyntras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iosif Kefalou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Stamatis Polichronopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thymios Kermelidis in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lambis Psiris saved Bαrji FC from getting behind.
