Giorgos Voulgaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Giorgos Voulgaris made a precise shot to the right of Charilaos Kominis. messangeles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Charilaos Kominis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Stavrou in the 25th minute of play. Anestis Fanakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pantelis Leventakis in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Gortynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fotis Stergallas to maneuver through the defense. If Pantelis Leventakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charilaos Kominis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Voulgaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Giorgos Voulgaris notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of messangeles's Charilaos Kominis. Charilaos Kominis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Giorgos Voulgaris took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charilaos Kominis. The messangeles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gortynia were winning 0-4.

After 51 played minutes Gortynia got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Stergallas. Charilaos Kominis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Trabakoulos in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match, Thomas Stavrou got a very nice opportunity to score, but Charilaos Kominis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fotis Stergallas might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charilaos Kominis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fotis Stergallas ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Gortynia booed when messangeles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miltos Gountelitsas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd play minute Thomas Stavrou came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Charilaos Kominis. 0-5. Charilaos Kominis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Voulgaris in the 84th minute of play. Thomas Stavrou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Charilaos Kominis made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Alexandros Ifantis made a precise shot to the right of Anestis Fanakos. Gortynia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. After a rather tough play, Gortynia's Michalis Skandalidis got a free kick in the 95th minute. Anestis Fanakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Vlantis in the 97th minute of play.
