Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giorgos Vyntras took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonis Athanasakis in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lambis Psiris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, Xerólakkos's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Vyntras came free, but Zacharias Savouridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Argyris Kanellos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacharias Savouridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lambis Psiris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Athanasakis in the 9th minute of play. If Iraklis Piperoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Thymios Skinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Bαrji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akakios Zervidis to maneuver through the defense. Giorgos Vyntras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Xerólakkos's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Vyntras came free, but Zacharias Savouridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thymios Skinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lambis Psiris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Athanasakis in the 40th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonis Athanasakis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bαrji FC's Argyris Kanellos got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes, Xerólakkos's Vlassis Sapanis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lambis Psiris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xerólakkos reached it. Lambis Psiris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonis Athanasakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Xerólakkos got a freekick which was hit by Eutichios Tokalidis. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Thymios Skinas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Zacharias Savouridis. If Iraklis Piperoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikitas Christidis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Iraklis Piperoglou scored 1-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lambis Psiris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 79 minutes, Antonis Athanasakis made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bαrji FC's Lambis Psiris tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Antonis Athanasakis came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Xerólakkos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonis Athanasakis couldn't finish the play. Argyris Kanellos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacharias Savouridis having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Antonis Athanasakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
