Alexandros Ifantis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Iosif Kefalou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Voliσnes got a freekick which was hit by Apostolis Kostakis. When Thymios Kermelidis came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Voliσnes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thymios Kermelidis couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michalis Iakovidis in the 37th minute of play forced messangeles's goalkeeper Charilaos Kominis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, messangeles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakis Gountelitsas to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, messangeles's goal looked a bit too open when Stamatis Polichronopoulos came free, but Charilaos Kominis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pantelis Leventakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Iosif Kefalou managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when messangeles's Alexandros Ifantis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pantelis Leventakis was the one to do the kick off. Charilaos Kominis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thymios Kermelidis's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Pantelis Leventakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Pantelis Leventakis made a precise shot to the right of Iosif Kefalou. Voliσnes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Voliσnes's Thymios Kermelidis got a free kick in the 67th minute. Charilaos Kominis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thymios Kermelidis in the 71st minute of the match. Pantelis Leventakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the match, messangeles's goalkeeper Charilaos Kominis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stamatis Polichronopoulos. In the 79th minute, Thymios Kermelidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pantelis Leventakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandros Ifantis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iosif Kefalou having to make a save. Alexandros Ifantis struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Iosif Kefalou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for messangeles. 93 minutes into the match, messangeles's Alexandros Ifantis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iosif Kefalou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. messangeles's Charilaos Kominis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save messangeles from getting a goal against them. messangeles's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
