AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Sotiris Mitropoulos scored to the left of an out of position Grigoris Pavlakos, making the score, 2-0. Kleanthis Akrividis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Kleanthis Akrividis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sotiris Mitropoulos came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Red Elikon Dragons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Mitropoulos couldn't finish the play. Panos Tsigos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoris Pavlakos having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Panos Bakogiannopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Elikon Dragons's Kostas Giotoulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Panos Tsigos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Panos Tsigos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Pavlakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoris Pavlakos was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Dimos Chiotis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dimos Chiotis really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Panos Bakogiannopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. Grigoris Pavlakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Tsigos in the 57th minute of the match. Kleanthis Akrividis kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Panos Tsigos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's goalkeeper Grigoris Pavlakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Sotiris Mitropoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Tsigos in the 64th minute of play forced AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's goalkeeper Grigoris Pavlakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Sotiris Mitropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Pavlakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoris Pavlakos came out of the goal and Sotiris Mitropoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panos Tsigos hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Zisis Tourkogiorgis's late challenge caught a AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zisis Tourkogiorgis helped the player get up and apologised. Zisis Tourkogiorgis hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Sotiris Mitropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Pavlakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
