Gortynia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panagiotis Kolitsidakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Gortynia's Thomas Stavrou in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 37th minute, Thomas Stavrou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anestis Fanakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Terzis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Πάτημα Α.Ο. got a freekick which was hit by Orestis Keratakis. Thomas Stavrou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Demis Paboulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Argyris Terzis made the kick off in the second half. Giorgos Voulgaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Demis Paboulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anestis Fanakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Maggioros in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Πάτημα Α.Ο.'s Orestis Keratakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anestis Fanakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 67 played minutes Πάτημα Α.Ο. got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Maggioros. Argyris Terzis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anestis Fanakos having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Thomas Stavrou took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Demis Paboulis to make any attempt to save it. Panagiotis Kolitsidakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Πάτημα Α.Ο.'s Argyris Terzis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anestis Fanakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Thomas Stavrou in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Demis Paboulis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Πάτημα Α.Ο. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
