The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Valkanas was the one to do the kick off. Eutichios Tokalidis kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Antonis Fytanidis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Charilaos Kritikopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christos Papoutsakos was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Thomas Valkanas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xerólakkos's Zacharias Savouridis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Achilleas Nikolaou was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. The supporters of Xerólakkos booed when Panathinaikos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achilleas Nikolaou didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iraklis Piperoglou got free with Dionysis Boulas in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charilaos Kritikopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacharias Savouridis having to interfere. Charilaos Kritikopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute.
