A very good chance. Zacharias Savouridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aimilios Zisimatos in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Xerólakkos got a freekick which was hit by Paris Lazarakis. Zacharias Savouridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panos Bakogiannopoulos in the 13th minute of the match. When Nikitas Sapounas fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's protests and gave Nikitas Sapounas a yellow card for diving instead. Nikitas Sapounas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Zacharias Savouridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Bakogiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xerólakkos's Iraklis Piperoglou got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Aimilios Zisimatos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Xerólakkos's Zacharias Savouridis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Aimilios Zisimatos managed to get in a good position for a shot. AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's supporters rose to their feet, but Aimilios Zisimatos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacharias Savouridis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's Grigoris Pavlakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, Christos Papoutsakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xerólakkos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ the free kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonis Athanasakis was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Kostas Stoltidis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xerólakkos the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Stoltidis to maneuver through the defense. If Antonis Athanasakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Kostas Stoltidis hit a great ball. Iraklis Piperoglou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute of the match Vlassis Sapanis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Grigoris Pavlakos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aimilios Zisimatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Zacharias Savouridis made a huge save. Kostas Stoltidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zacharias Savouridis came out and tried to block the shot, but Kostas Stoltidis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 71st minute. 82 minutes into the match, AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Antonis Athanasakis came free, but Grigoris Pavlakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's Grigoris Pavlakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonis Athanasakis in the 85th minute of play. When Kostas Stoltidis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. In the 86th match minute, AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Stoltidis to maneuver through the defense. Antonis Athanasakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonis Athanasakis in the 95th minute of play forced AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ's goalkeeper Grigoris Pavlakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AO ΠΑΝΑΡΙΤΙΟΥ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
