Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akakios Koubilias in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lambis Psiris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nikitas Christidis kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Akakios Koubilias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giorgos Vyntras kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bαrji FC's zone, Fanis Roubos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lambis Psiris came out of the goal and Fanis Roubos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fondas Lazarakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Kanellos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Thymios Skinas could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Fondas Lazarakis however easily saved by the left post. After 27 played minutes Milan got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Tsakiropoulos. Akakios Koubilias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lambis Psiris having to interfere. When Akakios Koubilias came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akakios Koubilias couldn't finish the play. Akakios Koubilias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lambis Psiris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sokratis Spyrou charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Bαrji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Roubos came free, but Lambis Psiris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lambis Psiris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fanis Roubos in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Milan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giorgos Vyntras to make the kick off. Thymios Stratikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lambis Psiris having to interfere. The supporters of Milan booed when Bαrji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argyris Kanellos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akakios Koubilias struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Lambis Psiris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milan. Bαrji FC's Lambis Psiris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akakios Koubilias in the 69th minute of play. In the 88th minute Fanis Roubos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lambis Psiris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Akakios Koubilias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bαrji FC's goalkeeper Lambis Psiris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Bαrji FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Milan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
