Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Evripidis Prokopiou kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute Theofanis Nomikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Stamatakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chrisostomos Vardakas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Dimitris Beos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Theofanis Nomikos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Potamilan FC's zone, Chrisostomos Vardakas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Beos came out of the goal and Chrisostomos Vardakas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Potamilan FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! In the 30th minute, the referee gave Pastida Fc a penalty. Dimitris Argyrakos looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Dimitris Beos. If Chrisostomos Vardakas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Beos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evripidis Prokopiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Makis Koutsoureas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes, Sotiris Kabouras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potamilan FC and the Pastida Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pastida Fc booed when Potamilan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotiris Kabouras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pavlos Stamatakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofanis Nomikos in the 66th minute of play. Chrisostomos Vardakas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dimitris Beos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Chrisostomos Vardakas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pastida Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Chrisostomos Vardakas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitris Beos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimitris Beos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evripidis Prokopiou in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kostas Mavrostomos during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 72 played minutes Potamilan FC got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Mavrostomos. 74 minutes into the match, Potamilan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evripidis Prokopiou came free, but Dimitris Beos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Pastida Fc's Evripidis Prokopiou made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitris Beos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Makis Koutsoureas came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pavlos Stamatakos could save by the left post. Evripidis Prokopiou struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Dimitris Beos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pastida Fc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chrisostomos Vardakas in the 94th minute of play forced Potamilan FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Beos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Evripidis Prokopiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evripidis Prokopiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Beos having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pastida Fc players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
