After a rather tough play, Iraklis Thessalonikis's Louis Spyridakos got a free kick in the 8th minute. Evripidis Prokopiou was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 13th minute, Omiros Kaklamanis made a precise shot to the right of Pavlos Stamatakos. Pastida Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Pastida Fc's Evripidis Prokopiou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thanos Vitalis. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute, Omiros Kaklamanis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavlos Stamatakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. During the 36th minute of the match Thanasis Beloukas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Thanasis Beloukas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 36 played minutes Iraklis Thessalonikis got a freekick which was hit by Thanasis Beloukas. If Zacharias Mostratos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Pastida Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinos Themelis came free, but Pavlos Stamatakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evripidis Prokopiou to strike the kick off in the second half. Chrisostomos Vardakas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanos Vitalis having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Iraklis Thessalonikis's goal looked a bit too open when Evripidis Prokopiou came free, but Thanos Vitalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pavlos Stamatakos made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Konstantinos Themelis sent off a good shot on target. Chrisostomos Vardakas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chrisostomos Vardakas in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thanos Vitalis saved Iraklis Thessalonikis from getting behind. After 65 minutes, Zacharias Mostratos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pastida Fc and the Iraklis Thessalonikis players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Zacharias Mostratos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastida Fc's Zacharias Mostratos got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Zacharias Mostratos off the ground. The supporters of Iraklis Thessalonikis booed when Pastida Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacharias Mostratos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pastida Fc's Pavlos Stamatakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Pastida Fc from getting a goal against them. After having played for 72 minutes, Chrisostomos Vardakas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pastida Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chrisostomos Vardakas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pavlos Stamatakos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstantinos Themelis in the 74th minute. In the 96th minute, Konstantinos Themelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
