Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chrisostomos Skarmoutsos kicked off to start the match. If Sakis Kolas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, TALIOURIDES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Pirtsos to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, TALIOURIDES's Kyriakos Kanetis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Louis Pentasferos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eutichios Kyrimlis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kyriakos Kanetis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Pentasferos having to interfere. Manos Toursounidis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. TALIOURIDES were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Melissia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Apostolis Sakalis took the corner. The corner led TALIOURIDES's Apostolis Sakalis to fire away a dangerous shot which Louis Pentasferos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sakis Kolas charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sakis Kolas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melissia's Kleon Bosoulas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for TALIOURIDES. 34 minutes into the match, Eutichios Kyrimlis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Louis Pentasferos. Melissia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eutichios Kyrimlis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eutichios Kyrimlis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Pentasferos having to interfere. Sakis Kolas struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Theagenis Sikalopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melissia. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Kyriakos Kanetis made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Kanetis in the 55th minute of play forced Melissia's goalkeeper Louis Pentasferos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louis Pentasferos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyriakos Kanetis in the 58th minute of the match. When Chrisostomos Skarmoutsos came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Melissia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chrisostomos Skarmoutsos couldn't finish the play. Eutichios Kyrimlis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Louis Pentasferos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Ilias Pirtsos was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in TALIOURIDES fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Kleon Bosoulas shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 77th minute Sakis Kolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theagenis Sikalopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zisis Lilis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Chrisostomos Skarmoutsos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eutichios Kyrimlis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Pentasferos having to interfere. Eutichios Kyrimlis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kyriakos Kanetis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eutichios Kyrimlis got free with Louis Pentasferos in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 93 minutes, Kyriakos Kanetis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TALIOURIDES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyriakos Kanetis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TALIOURIDES's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
