Eutichios Kyrimlis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Nikos Kamaras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kyriakos Kanetis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Kyriakos Kanetis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Kamaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikos Kamaras stood somewhat misplaced when Kyriakos Kanetis came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. TALIOURIDES's Kyriakos Kanetis got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikos Kamaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyriakos Kanetis in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fotis Bakalopoulos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Kyriakos Kanetis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Kamaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikos Kamaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Kanetis in the 87th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TALIOURIDES fans cheered their team off the field, for while Α.Σ. ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΙΤΟΧΩΡΟΥ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
