An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Spyridakos in the 70th minute of play forced Vlαsis's goalkeeper Loukianos Romanakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanos Vitalis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dimos Manousakis in the 72nd minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Dimos Manousakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlαsis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimos Manousakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Iraklis Thessalonikis's zone, Dimos Manousakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanos Vitalis came out of the goal and Dimos Manousakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanasis Beloukas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Vlαsis left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Iraklis Thessalonikis.
