Louis Pentasferos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Makis Koutsoureas in the 21st minute. When Chrisostomos Skarmoutsos fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melissia's protests and gave Chrisostomos Skarmoutsos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Melissia getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Chrisostomos Skarmoutsos hit a great ball. Louis Pentasferos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 minutes, Sotiris Kabouras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potamilan FC and the Melissia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sotiris Kabouras kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Potamilan FC's zone, Sakis Kolas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Beos came out of the goal and Sakis Kolas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Melissia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Potamilan FC.
