Valentinos Tsalavoutas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolis Keratakis in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, PAOK FC 1926's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Boumis came free, but Spyros Kavouratos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Petros Boumis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Petros Boumis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Spyros Kavouratos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petros Boumis to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, PAOK FC 1926's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Boumis came free, but Spyros Kavouratos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spyros Kavouratos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Trachanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Evripidis Nikolakakos's late challenge caught a Rayαn BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evripidis Nikolakakos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, PAOK FC 1926 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evripidis Nikolakakos to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Apostolis Keratakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentinos Tsalavoutas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christodoulos Troglis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentinos Tsalavoutas made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Adamantios Kareklopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Apostolis Keratakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PAOK FC 1926's Adamantios Kareklopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 minutes, Apostolis Keratakis made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rayαn BC's Valentinos Tsalavoutas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PAOK FC 1926 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
