Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chatziantoniou Vlachogiannis started the match with the kick off. Vassilis Kastakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Pentasferos having to interfere. Ilias Kaligeros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sakis Kolas in the 12th minute. Chatziantoniou Vlachogiannis got in the 17th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Louis Pentasferos handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Chatziantoniou Vlachogiannis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louis Pentasferos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Chatziantoniou Vlachogiannis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Vassilis Kastakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dhragotina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vassilis Kastakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stratos Macheritsas during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Dhragotina got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Borbokis. In the 61st minute, Dhragotina's Thomas Karanikolas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thomas Karanikolas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dhragotina protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thomas Karanikolas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Dhragotina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Melissia:s goal. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for Melissia. Kleon Bosoulas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ilias Kaligeros. 2-1. In the 66th minute Konstantinos Borbokis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Pentasferos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilias Kaligeros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chrisostomos Skarmoutsos went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Petros Bantas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Vassilis Kastakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Pentasferos having to interfere. Chrisostomos Skarmoutsos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
