After 5 played minutes PAOK FC 1926 got a freekick which was hit by Apostolis Keratakis. Makis Koutsoureas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theofanis Nomikos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Spyros Kavouratos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Potamilan FC's Theofanis Nomikos in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAOK FC 1926's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind PAOK FC 1926's goalkeeper Spyros Kavouratos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apostolis Keratakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Beos having to interfere. Apostolis Keratakis struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dimitris Beos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAOK FC 1926. Dimitris Beos came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by PAOK FC 1926's Adamantios Kareklopoulos. But to his dismay, Adamantios Kareklopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Spyros Kavouratos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofanis Nomikos in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Apostolis Keratakis made the kick off in the second half. Makis Koutsoureas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, PAOK FC 1926's goal looked a bit too open when Theofanis Nomikos came free, but Spyros Kavouratos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michalis Tsiartas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Apostolis Keratakis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dimitris Beos. The goal made the score 0-2. 74 minutes into the game, Avraam Bonovas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PAOK FC 1926's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potamilan FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, PAOK FC 1926's Avraam Bonovas got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind PAOK FC 1926's goalkeeper Spyros Kavouratos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Potamilan FC's Sotiris Kabouras in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 83rd match minute, PAOK FC 1926 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Maggioros to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Makis Koutsoureas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Spyros Kavouratos. PAOK FC 1926's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Makis Koutsoureas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
