Loukianos Romanakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyriakos Kanetis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes Vlαsis got a freekick which was hit by Tolis Marinakis. In the 32nd minute, TALIOURIDES's Kyriakos Kanetis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Loukianos Romanakos. Loukianos Romanakos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When Eutichios Kyrimlis came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the TALIOURIDES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eutichios Kyrimlis couldn't finish the play. Vlαsis's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kyriakos Kanetis 38 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Loukianos Romanakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Kanetis in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyriakos Kanetis to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Kyriakos Kanetis made a precise shot to the right of Loukianos Romanakos. Vlαsis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 63 minutes into the match, Eutichios Kyrimlis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loukianos Romanakos. Vlαsis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eutichios Kyrimlis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 5-1 became the score in the 70th minute when Dimos Manousakis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 79 played minutes TALIOURIDES got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Pirtsos. Dimos Manousakis struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Theagenis Sikalopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlαsis. 85 minutes into the match, Vlαsis's goal looked a bit too open when Eutichios Kyrimlis came free, but Loukianos Romanakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Kanetis in the 86th minute of play forced Vlαsis's goalkeeper Loukianos Romanakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Vlαsis defense, Eutichios Kyrimlis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loukianos Romanakos. The Vlαsis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loukianos Romanakos should have stopped the shot. Kyriakos Kanetis might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loukianos Romanakos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kyriakos Kanetis ran back to his position shaking his head. Alketas Vouras hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that TALIOURIDES were the better team. TALIOURIDES's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
