After recieving a nice pass, Khorνyi's Demis Marinos tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alexis Giannikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marinos Psarakidis having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Tasos Milonopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Khorνyi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Khorνyi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tasos Milonopoulos to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Aimilios Topalidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aimilios Topalidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valerios Kavouridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Kouros, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Valerios Kavouridis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Nousiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Nousiadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valerios Kavouridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Kouros in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aimilios Topalidis during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Charis Nousiadis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Khorνyi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Marinos Psarakidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltiadis Kapetanopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexis Giannikos took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marinos Psarakidis. Marinos Psarakidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Charis Nousiadis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Khorνyi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charis Nousiadis couldn't finish the play. A collision led to ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aimilios Topalidis hit a great ball. In the 65th match minute, Khorνyi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aggelos Evaggellakis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ's Alexis Giannikos got a free kick in the 68th minute. ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ's Valerios Kavouridis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save ΠΡΟΟΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the match, Alexis Giannikos notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Khorνyi's Marinos Psarakidis. Marinos Psarakidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Charis Nousiadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Valerios Kavouridis made a huge save. Marinos Psarakidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Giannikos, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute Alexis Giannikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marinos Psarakidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valerios Kavouridis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimitris Kouros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 97 minute of play.
