Christos Stavrou was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. famekavalafc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nikos Vamvakoulas hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimitris Kouros to make the kick off. Thrasivoulos Karvounis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Charis Nousiadis went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With a little luck, famekavalafc's Thrasivoulos Karvounis got control of the ball when Charis Nousiadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marinos Psarakidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Stavrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikos Vamvakoulas couldn't finish the play.
