In the 77th minute, Achilleas Karipidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prokopis Karagiannidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Sardelas in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loukas Katrakis in the 81st minute of play forced Simiαdhes's goalkeeper Thodoris Pedoulakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nektarios Topouzis's late challenge caught a ORiGiNaLs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nektarios Topouzis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, ORiGiNaLs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Papoutsas to maneuver through the defense. Alketas Mousios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prokopis Karagiannidis having to interfere.
