Iakovos Pathiakakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Wicherek in the 6th minute of play. Halil İbrahim Soysan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in HANNIBAL's zone, Babbis Anastasiadis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordanis Psomas came out of the goal and Babbis Anastasiadis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, AKITA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eutichios Kostoulas to maneuver through the defense. When Panos Kouloucheris came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the HANNIBAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panos Kouloucheris couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Asur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iakovos Pathiakakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of HANNIBAL booed when AKITA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanouil Bantrakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Asur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Pathiakakis having to interfere. Iakovos Pathiakakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Wicherek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Jan Wicherek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HANNIBAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Wicherek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Gugu Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute Alejandro Asur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iakovos Pathiakakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iakovos Pathiakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halil İbrahim Soysan in the 40th minute of the match. Iakovos Pathiakakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Kouloucheris, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Iakovos Pathiakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Wicherek in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, AKITA's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Asur came free, but Iakovos Pathiakakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes HANNIBAL got a freekick which was hit by Jan Wicherek. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Jan Wicherek took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Iakovos Pathiakakis to make any attempt to save it. When Halil İbrahim Soysan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the HANNIBAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halil İbrahim Soysan couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the match, Alejandro Asur notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of AKITA's Iakovos Pathiakakis. Iakovos Pathiakakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Kouveliotis in the 62nd minute of play forced HANNIBAL's goalkeeper Iordanis Psomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iakovos Pathiakakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Wicherek's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 64 played minutes AKITA got a freekick which was hit by Eutichios Kostoulas. HANNIBAL's Jan Wicherek was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. AKITA's Iakovos Pathiakakis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save AKITA from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, AKITA's goalkeeper Iakovos Pathiakakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panos Kouloucheris. The crowd rose to their feet as HANNIBAL's Jan Wicherek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iakovos Pathiakakis. That made the score 1-4 after 75 minutes of play. Andreas Kouveliotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Iordanis Psomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When AKITA's Babbis Anastasiadis in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. AKITA's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Wicherek in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iakovos Pathiakakis saved AKITA from getting behind. After a rather tough play, HANNIBAL's Halil İbrahim Soysan got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Halil İbrahim Soysan fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HANNIBAL's protests and gave Halil İbrahim Soysan a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the HANNIBAL defense, Andreas Kouveliotis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordanis Psomas. The HANNIBAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordanis Psomas should have stopped the shot. HANNIBAL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
