The referee ignored Karteros F.C.'s protests and gave Vaggelis Papadias a yellow card for diving instead. LokiFire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sotos Chiotis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charilaos Peras in the 33rd minute of play forced Karteros F.C.'s goalkeeper Thrasivoulos Papafotopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, LokiFire's goal looked a bit too open when Zinon Kalogiannis came free, but Iakovos Vryzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
