Babbis Anastasiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thrasivoulos Karvounis having to interfere. Thrasivoulos Karvounis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Kouveliotis, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind famekavalafc's goalkeeper Thrasivoulos Karvounis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Andreas Kouveliotis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thrasivoulos Karvounis, 2-0. Andreas Kouveliotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Thrasivoulos Karvounis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Babbis Anastasiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babbis Anastasiadis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thrasivoulos Karvounis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Iakovos Pathiakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Stavrou in the 44th minute of the match.

52 minutes into the match, AKITA's goalkeeper Iakovos Pathiakakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikos Vamvakoulas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Vamvakoulas got free with Iakovos Pathiakakis in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Nikos Vamvakoulas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AKITA had won after a very even match.
