After 18 minutes, Vaggelis Papadias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karteros F.C. and the ORiGiNaLs players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Karteros F.C. getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vaggelis Papadias hit a great ball. Loukas Katrakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thrasivoulos Papafotopoulos having to interfere. When Loukas Katrakis came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the ORiGiNaLs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loukas Katrakis couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, ORiGiNaLs's Loukas Katrakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thrasivoulos Papafotopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 30 minutes of play Karteros F.C.'s Vaggelis Papadias was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of ORiGiNaLs booed when Karteros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Papadias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Loukas Katrakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ORiGiNaLs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Karteros F.C. booed when ORiGiNaLs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Laboglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karteros F.C.'s Trifon Psilakis got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prokopis Karagiannidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trifon Psilakis in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

ORiGiNaLs's Prokopis Karagiannidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save ORiGiNaLs from getting a goal against them. If Loukas Katrakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trifon Psilakis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 74th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Trifon Psilakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karteros F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Trifon Psilakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prokopis Karagiannidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Trifon Psilakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loukas Katrakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thrasivoulos Papafotopoulos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes ORiGiNaLs got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Laboglou. ORiGiNaLs's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
