Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kostas Sardelas kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sofoklis Kotsios during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, one of Simiαdhes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Simiαdhes. The goalkeeper, Thodoris Pedoulakis, was totally fooled by Khorνyi's Demis Marinos, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Alketas Mousios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kostas Sardelas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marinos Psarakidis having to make a save. Marinos Psarakidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kostas Sardelas's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A hard shot 24 in the game by Charis Nousiadis from a close distance when the talented Thodoris Pedoulakis managed to make a qualified save. Simiαdhes's players were relieved. Charis Nousiadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Thodoris Pedoulakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Simiαdhes got a freekick which was hit by Lakis Karameros. Thodoris Pedoulakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Kouros, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Kostas Sardelas put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marinos Psarakidis. Dimitris Kouros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aggelos Evaggellakis kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimitris Kouros was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Simiαdhes got a freekick which was hit by Alketas Mousios. Thodoris Pedoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Nousiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thodoris Pedoulakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Kouros in the 55th minute of the match. Dimitris Kouros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Khorνyi's zone, Kostas Sardelas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marinos Psarakidis came out of the goal and Kostas Sardelas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kostas Sardelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marinos Psarakidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Khorνyi's Kostas Prittas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kostas Sardelas in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marinos Psarakidis saved Khorνyi from getting behind. Kostas Prittas charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kostas Prittas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Simiαdhes booed when Khorνyi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Prittas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alketas Mousios got free with Marinos Psarakidis in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes, Louis Kareklopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Khorνyi and the Simiαdhes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alketas Mousios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimitris Kouros might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thodoris Pedoulakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dimitris Kouros ran back to his position shaking his head. Alketas Mousios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Marinos Psarakidis made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
