Mikrá Sánta's Dionysis Naskos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakis Karageorgiou in the 28th minute of play. Dionysis Naskos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paris Mitras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, ROMANOS's Paris Mitras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionysis Naskos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Stamatakopoulou in the 35th minute of play forced Mikrá Sánta's goalkeeper Dionysis Naskos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ROMANOS's zone, Manos Malezas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miltos Stroggilos came out of the goal and Manos Malezas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Manos Malezas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Paris Mitras came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dionysis Naskos could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, ROMANOS's Dionysis Naskos threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sakis Karageorgiou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sakis Karageorgiou got free with Dionysis Naskos in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manos Malezas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miltos Stroggilos having to make a save. In the 69th minute, Christoforos Grigoratos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mikrá Sánta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a rather tough play, Mikrá Sánta's Makis Zintanopoulos got a free kick in the 74th minute. Fanis Stamatakopoulous short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Dionysis Naskos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 85th minute, Sakis Karageorgiou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROMANOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of Mikrá Sánta booed when ROMANOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthimos Naskos didn't get a good kick on the ball. ROMANOS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Mikrá Sánta to leave the ground with a draw.
