Spectators: 6868 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 100) Sevastianα's Thymios Vikelidis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Fondas Platakidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giannis Karntasis was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Giannis Karntasis came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Santorini's Fondas Platakidis. But to his dismay, Fondas Platakidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sotos Katevatis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vlassis Spilias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Sevastianα's goal looked a bit too open when Fondas Platakidis came free, but Giannis Karntasis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fondas Platakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 25 played minutes Sevastianα got a freekick which was hit by Miltos Partalidis. Apostolis Darlas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Vlassis Spilias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sevastianα's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlassis Spilias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konstantinos Kesaris hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Aggelos Chatzipetris hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Panagiotis Stravocheris came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Santorini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panagiotis Stravocheris couldn't finish the play. Thymios Vikelidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sotos Katevatis having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fondas Platakidis made a kick off. After some careless play in the Santorini defense, Thymios Vikelidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sotos Katevatis. The Santorini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sotos Katevatis should have stopped the shot. Panagiotis Stravocheris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Giannis Karntasis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Fondas Platakidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Karntasis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panagiotis Stravocheris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67th minute Thymios Vikelidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sotos Katevatis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sotos Katevatis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thymios Vikelidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sevastianα's Thymios Vikelidis got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thymios Vikelidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotos Katevatis having to interfere. Sotos Katevatis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thymios Vikelidis in the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Nikos Stilianopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santorini and the Sevastianα players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sevastianα booed when Santorini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Stilianopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vlassis Spilias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sotos Katevatis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thymios Vikelidis in the 92nd minute of play. Panagiotis Stravocheris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santorini's Marios Moscholidis got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
