Valerios Apostolakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Ioannidis having to interfere. When Thanos Bousoulas fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc LEYKIMMIS's protests and gave Thanos Bousoulas a yellow card for diving instead. Thanos Bousoulas hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Filippos Petriniotis put in a rough tackle. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fc LEYKIMMIS! Anestis Kladas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simos Bakouris, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 30 minutes into the match, Constantinople Royal Club's goal looked a bit too open when Simos Bakouris came free, but Anestis Kladas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valerios Apostolakis struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Kostas Ioannidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Constantinople Royal Club. If Thanos Michailidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimitris Digozis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Anestis Kladas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simos Bakouris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anestis Kladas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simos Bakouris in the 39th minute of play forced Constantinople Royal Club's goalkeeper Anestis Kladas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argyris Loukakis kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Simos Bakouris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kostas Ioannidis came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Constantinople Royal Club's Valerios Apostolakis. But to his dismay, Valerios Apostolakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

The wind increased when Thanos Michailidis made the kick off in the second half. Constantinople Royal Club's Anestis Kladas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simos Bakouris in the 54th minute of play. Dimitris Digozis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anestis Kladas having to interfere. Valerios Apostolakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kostas Ioannidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thanos Michailidis in the 70th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Simos Bakouris got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kostas Ioannidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thanos Michailidis went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simos Bakouris in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anestis Kladas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fc LEYKIMMIS's Simos Bakouris got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Simos Bakouris came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Fc LEYKIMMIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simos Bakouris couldn't finish the play. Fc LEYKIMMIS's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Constantinople Royal Club had won, even though Fc LEYKIMMIS had held more of the ball.
