Giannis Karntasis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmanouil Kontodimos went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Sevastianα's goalkeeper Giannis Karntasis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vassilis Leontokardos. Vassilis Leontokardos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Giannis Karntasis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vlassis Spilias struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vlassis Spilias couldn't finish the play. Wiz SP's Giannis Charalambakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thymios Vikelidis in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wiz SP's goalkeeper Giannis Charalambakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aggelos Chatzipetris charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
