When Thalis Krontiras came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the LoS ChE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thalis Krontiras couldn't finish the play. If Chrisostomos Tsigos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alkinoos Fanaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Krontiras in the 10th minute of play. LoS ChE's Chrisostomos Tsigos got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Chatziantoniou Veniamin. In the 22nd minute of the match Thrasivoulos Rizlas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alkinoos Fanaras showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Giannis Moulopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Moulopoulos took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alkinoos Fanaras. Alkinoos Fanaras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Chrisostomos Tsigos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alkinoos Fanaras having to make a save. Thalis Krontiras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chrisostomos Tsigos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Christos Gikas came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the LoS ChE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Gikas couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea's zone, Stathis Kanavidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alkinoos Fanaras came out of the goal and Stathis Kanavidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alkinoos Fanaras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Moulopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Stathis Kanavidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkinoos Fanaras having to interfere. LoS ChE made a substitution. Dorotheos Velatos replaced Fragiskos Fragoulis. Alkinoos Fanaras didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Stathis Kanavidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konstantinos Tevekelis struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Alkinoos Fanaras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LoS ChE. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Pipinakis in the 74th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Alkinoos Fanaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstantinos Kamelakos struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Alkinoos Fanaras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LoS ChE. Konstantinos Kamelakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Konstantinos Kamelakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. LoS ChE's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantinos Kamelakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkinoos Fanaras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Moulopoulos came free, but Alkinoos Fanaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Konstantinos Kamelakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LoS ChE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantinos Kamelakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Konstantinos Kamelakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Moulopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Konstantinos Kamelakos managed to get in a good position for a shot. LoS ChE's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantinos Kamelakos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkinoos Fanaras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
