A collision led to Apollon Apollonias getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lakis Stergiou hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Anastasios Papachronopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apollon Apollonias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sevastianα the free kick. Thymios Vikelidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apollon Apollonias reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Vlassis Spilias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giannis Karntasis came out of the goal and Stathis Markonis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giannis Karntasis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Tragos in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Giannis Sagionaridis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
