The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinos Kaberis's late challenge caught a Santorini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantinos Kaberis helped the player get up and apologised. 7 minutes into the game, Pipis Karaindros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santorini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wiz SP the free kick. In the 7th minute, Pipis Karaindros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fondas Platakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Fondas Platakidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santorini's supporters rose to their feet, but Fondas Platakidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giannis Charalambakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giannis Charalambakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Stravocheris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Wiz SP's Kostas Koskinopoulos got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 17th match minute, Wiz SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Kaplatzis to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Fondas Platakidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santorini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Vassilis Leontokardos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Wiz SP's Emmanouil Kontodimos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. A collision led to Santorini getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Pipis Karaindros hit a great ball. Panagiotis Stravocheris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Fondas Platakidis made the kick off in the second half. Fondas Platakidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Charalambakis having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Panagiotis Stravocheris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Giannis Charalambakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 60 minutes into the match, Emmanouil Kontodimos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sotos Katevatis. Santorini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emmanouil Kontodimos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Santorini's Pipis Karaindros got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Pipis Karaindros off the ground. A collision led to Santorini getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Pipis Karaindros hit a great ball. Vassilis Leontokardos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotos Katevatis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Santorini's zone, Emmanouil Kontodimos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sotos Katevatis came out of the goal and Emmanouil Kontodimos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sotos Katevatis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vassilis Leontokardos in the 87th minute of play. Panagiotis Stravocheris struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Giannis Charalambakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santorini. Diogenis Toursounidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Giannis Charalambakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
