KazaklarFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Πευκοχώρι the free kick. Vassilis Mantzouranas kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Stamatis Kosmoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolis Chatziioannou having to interfere. But to his dismay, Stamatis Kosmoulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Manolis Chatziioannou was a little too slow when Stamatis Kosmoulis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stamatis Kosmoulis couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stamatis Lagoudakis in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manolis Chatziioannou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Πευκοχώρι's Stamatis Kosmoulis got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Stamatis Lagoudakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, Thalis Verivakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Stamatis Kosmoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Πευκοχώρι's supporters rose to their feet, but Stamatis Kosmoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolis Chatziioannou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Πευκοχώρι were the better team. Πευκοχώρι's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
