Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Manolis Katralikakis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Sarisa F.C.'s Dimitris Vakaloglou in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Πευκοχώρι's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolis Katralikakis in the 5th minute of play forced Πευκοχώρι's goalkeeper Apostolikas Balaouras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Manolis Katralikakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarisa F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Πευκοχώρι the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Sarisa F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolis Katralikakis to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes in the game, Manolis Katralikakis dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Πευκοχώρι's Stamatis Kosmoulis got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stamatis Kosmoulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Lissaridis having to interfere. Apostolikas Balaouras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Vakaloglou in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Πευκοχώρι booed when Sarisa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Koumarianos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stamatis Kosmoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stamatis Kosmoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manolis Katralikakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Πευκοχώρι's Apostolikas Balaouras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Vakaloglou in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Vladimiros Kavouridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Πευκοχώρι's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiros Kavouridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Babbis Lissaridis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sarisa F.C.'s Babbis Lissaridis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Sarisa F.C. from getting a goal against them. Babbis Lissaridis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vladimiros Kavouridis went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Vladimiros Kavouridis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Babbis Lissaridis came out and tried to block the shot, but Vladimiros Kavouridis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiros Kavouridis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sarisa F.C. booed when Πευκοχώρι was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kleanthis Mallios didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolis Katralikakis in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apostolikas Balaouras saved Πευκοχώρι from getting behind. After 55 played minutes Πευκοχώρι got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Lagoudakis. If Manolis Katralikakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Πευκοχώρι getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Lambis Kouvarakis hit a great ball. Stamatis Kosmoulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Dimitris Vakaloglou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Apostolikas Balaouras was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Manolis Katralikakis took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Apostolikas Balaouras to make any attempt to save it. 75 minutes into the match, Sarisa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stamatis Kosmoulis came free, but Babbis Lissaridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Vladimiros Kavouridis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarisa F.C.'s goalkeeper Babbis Lissaridis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stathis Karpouzis charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stathis Karpouzis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Sarisa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Stathis Karpouzis. Stamatis Lagoudakis didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarisa F.C.'s goalkeeper Babbis Lissaridis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Babbis Lissaridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stamatis Kosmoulis in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarisa F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Πευκοχώρι.
