Lakis Kaliris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With his leg Lakis Kaliris managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Sarisa F.C.'s Dimitris Vakaloglou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Α.Ο. ΚΕΦΑΛΛΟΝΙΑ getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Theofanis Chatzinathanail hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Stelios Panopoulos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Α.Ο. ΚΕΦΑΛΛΟΝΙΑ's Lakis Kaliris didn't even have to move. Akakios Pasamichalis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Dimitris Vakaloglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Lakis Kaliris made a huge save. Theofanis Chatzinathanail kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Stelios Panopoulos shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Α.Ο. ΚΕΦΑΛΛΟΝΙΑ's Lakis Kaliris to catch but Stelios Panopoulos was lucky. It became 2-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After 34 played minutes Α.Ο. ΚΕΦΑΛΛΟΝΙΑ got a freekick which was hit by Theofanis Chatzinathanail. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolis Katralikakis in the 35th minute of play forced Α.Ο. ΚΕΦΑΛΛΟΝΙΑ's goalkeeper Lakis Kaliris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Manolis Katralikakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lakis Kaliris. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. Dimitris Vakaloglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dimitris Vakaloglou struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Lakis Kaliris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarisa F.C.. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manolis Katralikakis to strike the kick off in the second half. Sarisa F.C.'s Babbis Lissaridis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sarisa F.C. from getting a goal against them. After having played for 55 minutes, Giannis Giannopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Α.Ο. ΚΕΦΑΛΛΟΝΙΑ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giannis Giannopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Α.Ο. ΚΕΦΑΛΛΟΝΙΑ's Akakios Pasamichalis got a free kick in the 84th minute. Lakis Kaliris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Vakaloglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Theofanis Chatzinathanail was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Theofanis Chatzinathanail kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Lakis Kaliris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manolis Katralikakis in the 88th minute of the match. Dimitris Vakaloglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lakis Kaliris having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Α.Ο. ΚΕΦΑΛΛΟΝΙΑ's Grigoris Konstantakakis got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th match minute, Sarisa F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Notis Koufakis to maneuver through the defense. Sarisa F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
