Eugenios Matzavidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takis Plitsis in the 16th minute of play. Antonis Rokofilos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kari Benzema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panathinaikos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Kari Benzema scored to the left of an out of position Kostas Dilberis, making the score, 1-0. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Panathinaikos's goalkeeper Kostas Dilberis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. PLAGIARI's Eugenios Matzavidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Gitsis in the 34th minute of play. Anestis Katsiaros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Dilberis having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Kari Benzema got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Antonis Rokofilos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Manuel Senio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugenios Matzavidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takis Plitsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panathinaikos's Kostas Dilberis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Panathinaikos from getting a goal against them. After 44 played minutes Panathinaikos got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Topouzoglou. Eugenios Matzavidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Gitsis in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Kostas Dilberis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kari Benzema, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Kari Benzema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Panathinaikos's Giannis Topouzoglou got a free kick in the 60th minute. PLAGIARI's Antonis Rokofilos got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Panathinaikos's zone, Kari Benzema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Dilberis came out of the goal and Kari Benzema tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Panathinaikos getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Makis Baroutis hit a great ball. Kostas Dilberis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kari Benzema went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Eugenios Matzavidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takis Plitsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Giannis Gitsis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Eugenios Matzavidis made a huge save. Kari Benzema sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kari Benzema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kostas Dilberis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sokratis Paspalidis during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes Panathinaikos got a freekick which was hit by Sokratis Paspalidis. Kostas Dilberis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PLAGIARI's Kari Benzema shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Kari Benzema fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Dilberis having to interfere. PLAGIARI's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
