When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Gerasimos Patsoureas put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Demis Dermitzakis. Gerasimos Patsoureas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefanos Plitsis kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Fokas Katsikis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alexandros Kakadelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Alekos Kalogeropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Periklis Gemisis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demis Dermitzakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After a rather tough play, Alkoolikoi FC's Renos Pezos got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alexandros Kakadelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktoras Giannakakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Periklis Gemisis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Demis Dermitzakis made a huge save. After having played for 66 minutes, Viktoras Giannakakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aetochorion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viktoras Giannakakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandros Kakadelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktoras Giannakakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to Aetochorion BC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Stelios Valassoglou hit a great ball. Kostas Skiadopoulos, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerasimos Patsoureas in the 74th minute of play forced Aetochorion BC's goalkeeper Demis Dermitzakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demis Dermitzakis came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Alkoolikoi FC's Periklis Gemisis. But to his dismay, Periklis Gemisis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Aetochorion BC's Demis Dermitzakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerasimos Patsoureas in the 80th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Vassilis Papadopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gerasimos Patsoureas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
